WIND Subsea Cable Services welcomes Draftec

WIND Subsea Cable Services has announced that Draftec, a company specializing in machine production and system development, is joining WIND. This collaboration strengthens support and services for clients in international offshore and renewable energy projects. Crossminds guided the shareholders of Draftec through this process.
Draftec: A specialist in system integration
Draftec was founded in 2009 by Martijn Boone, who, along with co-director Martijn Holtkamp, continues to lead the company. They both bring extensive experience in mechanical design, hydraulic and electrical systems, and software and automation systems. Over the years, Draftec has grown into a specialist in system integration and manufacturer of custom-designed, multidisciplinary systems and equipment for sectors such as offshore wind, marine & dredging, and heavy lifting installations. The company offers a comprehensive service that includes everything from engineering to realization and maintenance.

With this strategic acquisition, WIND Subsea Cable Services takes an important step in strengthening its position as a leading player in the offshore and renewable energy sectors, while Draftec gains the opportunity to expand its innovative solutions globally.
