Born in Vlaardingen, Michel has a deep connection to Rotterdam. He gained advisory experience at PwC, one of the Big Four firms, before transitioning to the corporate world. At TNT, he worked in the postal and logistics sectors as an M&A manager, CFO, and CEO, contributing to the company’s European expansion by leading acquisitions to build its logistics network.
As a buy-in manager for a private equity firm, he joined an international furniture rental company in the events sector, playing a key role in its global expansion. His responsibilities included building trust, negotiating fair terms for the acquisition, integrating processes, and implementing a central ERP system. After the company was sold, Michel decided to share his knowledge with other entrepreneurs.
