Crossminds assisted in the sale of Thieu van Dorst Bedrijfswagens.

As of January 1, 2020, Fred van der Heijden has taken over the company Thieu van Dorst Bedrijfswagens from Joop Meijer.

Thieu van Dorst Bedrijfswagens has a long history; the company was founded by its namesake in the 1970s in Terheijden. In 2008, the company, then consisting of three locations, was acquired by Joop Meijer. He expanded the organization to its current size: a company with branches in Breda, Den Bosch, Goes, Roosendaal, and Tilburg. Over the past ten years, the company was awarded the MAN Dealer of the Year title no less than four times.

Fred van der Heijden, 45, is a well-known figure in the truck sector. As of September 1, 2018, he joined Thieu van Dorst Bedrijfswagens as Commercial Director for the Tilburg and Den Bosch branches. Prior to this, he worked at MAN Dealer Netherlands in various commercial and management roles.

In 2008, the Crossminds team assisted Mr. Meijer with the acquisition of Thieu van Dorst. In 2018, we provided support with the acquisition of the Den Bosch and Tilburg locations. We are proud to have guided Joop Meijer with his exit, completing the circle.

The transaction was facilitated by Lars van Heeren, Pieter Poortvliet, and Manfred Zurhorst, and was finalized on January 3, 2020.
