Astrid van Leerdam is an all-round financial controller with broad experience gained through various financial roles, primarily within SME organizations. She has been involved in projects such as refinancing, ERP implementation, bankruptcy, and acquisitions (due diligence).
With this experience, Astrid understands the decisions entrepreneurs face, and she finds fulfillment in providing support during these critical moments. Flexibility comes naturally to her. She works in a structured manner, allowing her to maintain an overview, identify connections, and set priorities effectively.
Astrid grew up near Rotterdam, where she completed her higher education in Financial Management and SPD. She began her career in the automotive industry, which laid the foundation for her professional growth. After relocating to Zeeland, she continued her career in the shipping, offshore, steel construction, and logistics sectors. A common thread throughout her career has been the hands-on, no-nonsense culture. Despite living in Zeeland for quite some time, Astrid still approaches her work with a “can-do” Rotterdam mentality.
