Carolien van der Helm has been an advisor at Crossminds since the end of 2022. Before that, she gained two years of experience working at a competitor in the Corporate Finance field. Carolien is a well-rounded advisor who finds great fulfillment in advising within the SME sector, due to the personal involvement of entrepreneurs. The dynamic between financial aspects and the social-emotional elements is a driving challenge for her.
Carolien holds a master’s degree in Fiscal Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and this tax expertise proves valuable in her work in the mergers and acquisitions field. During her studies, she interned at an international law firm in New York and spent a year traveling through Central and South America.
