Guidance for Automotions in its partial transfer to Van Mossel Automotive Group.

Automotions is parting with its Ford and Opel brand clusters. Additionally, the companies ZuidWest Lease, Automotions Lease, Kyoto Lease, and Automotions Rent will continue under the Van Mossel banner. The Autoschadeteam locations, affiliated with Automotions and falling under Baarends Autoschade Holding, will also be transferred to the Van Mossel Automotive Group. As part of the acquisition, Van Mossel Automotive Group will take over the employees working for these companies.
Automotions
Automotions has long been one of the largest mobility providers in Southwest Netherlands. Since 2007, the company has expanded its service area through acquisitions of various Mercedes-Benz, Peugeot, and Ford dealerships. Its own leasing company, ZuidWest Lease, grew alongside this expansion. Autoschadeteam also experienced significant growth during this time.
“The growth and developments over the past few years have resulted in solid businesses, one by one. It is the future developments within the automotive industry that led us to this decision,” said Lennard van Oeveren of Automotions Group. “The Ford and Opel brands, as well as the leasing companies, require scale to continue growing. By transferring them to Van Mossel Automotive Group, we are confident about the future of these brands.”
Automotions will remain the primary mobility provider in Southwest Netherlands for the Peugeot, Mercedes-Benz, and smart brands. Lennard van Oeveren states:
“With six Peugeot locations and four Mercedes-Benz/smart locations in Zeeland and West Brabant, we will continue serving our customers as they have come to expect from us. After the transfer, we will fully focus on further growth and professionalization of the Peugeot, Mercedes-Benz, and smart brands.”
The transaction was supported by Marco du Pré, Pieter Poortvliet, and Arjen van de Velde.
