Crossminds has assisted Knook Breda in its acquisition by Marpa Holding.

On Friday, February 2, 2024, Knook Breda, along with Knook Select, was acquired by Marpa Holding.

Knook Breda

Gerard Knook founded this family business in 1972 and was one of the first Dutch dealers to supply Land Rover vehicles. In 2003, his daughter, Renata Knook, took over the business at its familiar location on Veldsteen 2 in Breda. Under her leadership, Knook added the Jaguar dealership in 2014. Knook Breda is known for its rich history, quality, and personal approach, which has resulted in a well-established client base and a significant number of loyal and returning customers. In 2019, driven by a passion for cars, Knook Select was founded, specializing in selecting truly distinctive cars and selling them as dream vehicles. Due to the lack of succession, Renata reached out to Crossminds, and together we embarked on this sales process, bringing it to a successful conclusion.

Marpa Holding

Marpa Holding is a financial holding company based in Eindhoven, working closely with Automobielbedrijf Cito. Marpa Holding is already familiar with the Jaguar and Land Rover brands, as it owns The Adventure, the Jaguar Land Rover dealership in Den Bosch. With the acquisition of Knook Breda, Marpa Holding strengthens its position within the Jaguar and Land Rover network, gaining a 20 percent market share within the dealership network for these brands.

Both the name and management of Knook Breda will remain unchanged, allowing customers to continue enjoying the same level of service they are accustomed to.
