Crossminds supports Wubben brothers in sale to Bryte

Gebr. Wubben

The cluster tomato farm of Gebr. Wubben has been acquired by Bryte. Crossminds assisted the management of Gebr. Wubben in successfully completing the sale.

Gebroeders Wubben

In 1984, Ard Wubben started his tomato nursery, which has steadily grown over the years. In 1995, he decided, like many other growers, to switch from beef tomatoes to cluster tomatoes. Ard is now an experienced cluster tomato grower and operates a nursery spanning 8.7 hectares. The nursery is located in Tinte and is known for the consistent quality of its products. Joining Bryte provides a solution to the succession issue and ensures continuity for the business.

Bryte

Bryte, established in 2019 through the merger of two renowned cultivation companies, specializes in tomato cultivation. Bryte has seven locations in the southwestern Netherlands, covering a total area of 40 hectares. Bryte combines scale and efficiency with sustainability and quality management to produce high-quality tomatoes daily. The acquisition of the cluster tomato nursery from Gebr. Wubben aligns with Bryte’s other locations and fulfills its growth ambitions. Under the leadership of Ard Wubben, in collaboration with the existing organization, further optimizations will be realized at the Tinte location.

Crossminds

Crossminds supported the shareholders of Gebr. Wubben throughout the entire process, from the initial exploratory discussions to signing the sales agreement. The Crossminds team involved included Lars van Heeren and Niels IJsselstein, in close collaboration with Michael Kroes from Moore-DRV.
